Learner Driver Training
Where does everyone start their driving career?
Well... at the beginning!
ZED School offers driving tuition for people of all abilities, and all availabilities. We will start you on nice quiet roads, picking you up from your home or place of work, and taking you to a suitable place where we can start the lesson. We will then walk you through every step of driving a car, from start to finish. We provide online video material, so that can become familiar with the controls of the car before you even sit in it for the first time. We also offer training videos that can help you to learn some of the other controls (wipers, lights, etc.) at a pace that works for you.
As your skills grow, we will introduce bigger and bigger challenges, more complex traffic conditions, and more demanding roads. Your learning will happen at your pace, and we don't have a fixed timetable of tuition so you won't ever feel like you need to 'keep up' with the timetable of tuition.
Will we push you to constantly become a better and more competent driver? Yes.
Will we push you beyond your limits and abilities? No!
As you become more proficient behind the wheel, you might choose to start your lesson at work and finish it at home (or the other way around!). This will not only give you familiarity with the routes that you will frequently drive as a full licence holder, but will also give you greater flexibility about the times when you can fit in a driving lesson.
Before you know it you'll be tackling roundabouts and one-way systems with confidence, dealing with complex traffic challenges with ease, soaking up the miles on country roads and dual-carriageways, and preparing to take your test.
On the day of your test you can choose to either head out with your examiner on your own, or choose to have your instructor in the back of the car if you would prefer.
